Turn WhatsApp conversations into meaningful engagement, leads, and sales with Mcarbon.

The 24-hour conversation window starts when a user sends the first message to your business. During this period, you can freely respond without incurring additional charges. After 24 hours, any further messages require a paid template message to restart the conversation.

WhatsApp automatically categorizes your templates into one of its conversation typesMarketing, Utility, or Authentication—based on content and intent. You can check the assigned category within your WhatsApp Business Manager or messaging provider’s dashboard.

When submitting a WhatsApp template for approval via the Mcarbon Console, you’ll be asked to select a category (Marketing, Utility, or Authentication). You can either:

Allow WhatsApp to override your selection and approve the template accordingly.
Opt for rejection if the selected category doesn’t match WhatsApp’s classification.

Twilio’s system will notify you if your selection is accepted or rejected and display the final category assigned by WhatsApp. Additionally, all templates created before June 1, 2023, have been automatically reclassified by Meta’s machine learning classifier under the new category-based pricing model.
